I walked through the meadow which I call Bumble Bee meadow.

(due to the fact there are loads of bees buzzing around the purlpe clover that is abundant in that area. There are bee hives in the next field I do believe.) and I saw my first ever Common Spotted Orchid. (Dactylorhiza Fuchsii). This is one of the commonist British orchids growing in grassland and scrub on chalk and limestone. Its pale pink, pale purple or white flowers  have a conspicuous large tooth in the middle of the lip. They appear June to August.
