26th Dec Blackbrook Zoo....

I hope everybody had a great Christmas.

Today I ventured out into the big wide world and headed for Blackbrook Zoo near Ashbourne, and only six miles away from Alton Towers.

As a special price from November to the 31st January it is only £1.99 for all classes to enter, so its an ideal time to go.

It is alike to Slimbridge with an amount of wetland and wilfdowl birds, Cranes, Ibis and Flamingos. A  Penguin enclosure  made viewing a pleasure with underwater windows and top of water viewing also.

It made for a lovely day out, if you do get the chance to go, GO!
